In May 2018, electric scooters landed unexpectedly in Charlotte’s streets. Over the past year, the city has taken actions to manage this form of micro-mobility while offering a convenient option for its citizens to get around.

In partnership with Passport and Lime, Charlotte is now a part of a pilot program designed to help give cities more control and to foster private-public partnerships.
