Mobile Makes it Easier
Mobile, electronic chalking can be done through license plate recognition (LPR) or through Passport’s mobile ticket issuance app. Whether through LPR or the mobile app, the process is simple:
- The license plate number, location, tire stem position, and time limit for parking is recorded and shared system-wide for all parking enforcement officers to access
- As officers or LPR vehicles return to spots on their route, the vehicle information is recorded again
- If the vehicle matches the configured business rules for parking over time, the officer is alerted to issue a ticket

Passport’s solution can be configured to support your specific business rules. Restrictions can be placed at the address, street or zone level.
