Council Bluffs’ Citation Management Platform Sees Growth

Council Bluffs, IA – With the implementation of Passport’s citation management platform, the City of Council Bluffs saw an increased yield on payable citations from 2015 to 2016. The platform launched in 2015 for the city and allows enforcers to efficiently manage citations with the convenience of their mobile device.

Enforcers in the City of Council Bluffs now utilize real-time mobile software for printing and issuing citations. The platform saw a 102.5% increase in number of citations issued from February 2015 to February 2016. Not only does the enhancement give customers the ability to immediately pay their ticket online or with their mobile device once their ticket has been issued, but it increases convenience and compliance for the city and its citizens.

“With the extensive functionality of Passport citation management platform, enforcement officers can conveniently manage their day-to-day tasks in once place,” said Brandon Rivard, VP of Client Success. “The enhancement from hand writing citations to issuing citations with their mobile device vastly increases each officer’s efficiency.”

Most recently, Passport launched its mobile parking payment app in the City of Council Bluffs. With the mobile app, users can pay for their parking, receive reminder notifications before the end of their parking session, extend time remotely, and keep track of all parking history.

With the adoption of the citation management platform and mobile parking payment app, the city will gain operational efficiencies by combining technology services under one platform.
