Beverly, MA partners with Passport to upgrade mobile payments for parking

The Passport Parking app is now available for users to pay for and manage parking

Beverly, MA (Oct. 3, 2023) —  The City of Beverly is introducing a new, easy-to-use mobile payment application for parking, Passport Parking. The app is powered by mobility software and payments company, Passport, and allows users to pay for and manage parking seamlessly through their smartphones. With Passport’s platform in place, parkers have a convenient method to pay for parking and the City of Beverly has access to a scalable solution, built to grow with its needs.

After downloading the free app from the App Store or Google Play, a user enters the respective zone number, license plate number and the desired length of time for parking. Users can receive notifications when their sessions are about to expire, extend their sessions remotely and view receipts and parking history. Users can also conveniently manage their parking online at

“Passport’s parking app will make it easier for our residents to park and enjoy our downtown without worrying about getting a ticket,” says Mayor Michael P. Cahill, City of Beverly. “This partnership with Passport will not only improve our parking operations, but will also help us better serve our community.”

More than 800 cities and operators trust Passport’s mobility management platform to power and operate digital payments for parking, enforcement and permitting, providing them with real-time mobility data in a centralized place. Other cities across Massachusetts that trust Passport to manage their parking and mobility needs include Rockport, Lowell and Worcester.
