Parking App Launches in Locations Across Dayton

A new app is now available across Dayton that will make paying for parking much more convenient.

Drivers can now download the free PassportParking app that allows users to purchase parking from their phones. The app is powered by leading mobile pay parking provider Passport, and is now available in 4,000 parking spaces across 19 off-street lot locations.

Passport provides mobile pay parking to large cities like Boston, Toronto, Chicago, and Detroit. The company’s mobile apps are also available in nearby Cincinnati and Cleveland.

With the app, users can:

  • Pay for parking
  • Monitor their session
  • Extend time remotely
  • View all parking history

With Passport, drivers no longer have to walk up to the parking meter at all — everything can be managed from the app. The new service will help users monitor their parking session and help avoid parking citations.

Passport will also be providing its parking enforcement software at the same parking locations, making the process of real-time monitoring and enforcing parking seamless.

“We’re excited to expand our presence in Ohio with this most recent launch in Dayton,” said Bob Youakim, CEO at Passport. “Our service will make parking a quicker, more convenient process for drivers around the city — now drivers can park, pay, and be on their way.”

The PassportParking app is free to download from the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. Users can also manage their parking online at ppprk.com.
