Launch of MobileMeter In Urbana

The convenient MobileMeter app used to pay for parking in the City of Champaign is now available for drivers across the City of Urbana. The app, powered by industry-leading mobile payments provider, Passport, has seen great success in Champaign since its launch last year. The MobileMeter app makes parking payments easier by giving drivers a credit card option directly from their smartphone or tablet. Users can also keep track of available time, receive reminder notifications before the end of their parking session, and extend their parking remotely.

The MobileMeter app will be available in numerous metered parking locations throughout the City of Urbana.
