Passport’s Enforcement Software Eases Operations in Arvada, CO
Arvada, CO, just twenty minutes outside of Denver, recently went through many parking changes and needed a new parking enforcement system in place that would make enforcement efficient and effective.
With new management overseeing the city’s parking payment hardware, citations, and permits, it was important for Arvada to implement a citation management solution that would work for them — quickly.
Passport’s solution allows parking operations to introduce industry-leading enforcement technology within a short time frame. Besides being easy to implement, the software is intuitive so that getting started takes minimal time and effort.
Passport’s software is available for use on any Android phone or tablet, giving officers a lightweight, flexible option for enforcing while they’re out in the field. Enforcement officers can also customize the software — add notes, create a list of most common parking violations, etc. All information entered out in the field is available in real-time, helping to monitor enforcement activity and overall data reporting.
Passport provided Arvada with the Android devices and printers they needed to get things going right away.
In addition to this, Passport is helping Arvada collect on unpaid parking citations through its Harvester solution. Harvester pulls up-to-date owner address information from unpaid citations using 50 state DMV lookup to generate payment notices on tickets that would otherwise go unpaid, which allows them to capitalize on missed revenue.
As Arvada gains a citation management platform, they will be able to successfully manage enforcement in a way that works best for them — all while making parking easier for their customers.
