Passport Canada App Goes Live for Canadian Parkers
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB)- Passport has debuted Passport Canada, the company’s country-wide mobile parking app for Canadian municipal parking and private parking operators. Passport Canada launched in the City of Surrey, British Columbia last week, replacing the City’s previous mobile payment provider. Passport’s Canadian specific app further solidifies the company’s presence in the country, having already powered the mobile parking solutions of Toronto, Victoria, EasyPark, Timmins, and Surrey.
Passport Canada offers all the same features as the highly rated PassportParking app, but with a completely new design specific to its Canadian clients and parkers. With Passport Canada, users can pay for their parking session directly from their smartphone, track their remaining time, and extend their parking (up to the allotted maximum time). Users will receive a notification alerting them 15 minutes prior to the end of their session.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Passport Canada,” said Bob Youakim, CEO at Passport. “We’ve had tremendous success with our private label applications and Passport launches in the country, so we’re looking forward to deploying this new Passport Canada mobile solution to Canadian municipalities, operators, and parkers.”
Passport Canada is now available in the City of Surrey, British Columbia, and will soon be available in other locations throughout Canada. The Passport Canada app is free to download from the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. Users can also manage their parking online atppprkca.com
Passport is the leading provider of mobile payments for parking and transit, and has deployed mobile payment services in large cities such as Toronto, Chicago, Boston, and Salt Lake City. Passport developed the Green P app, Toronto’s mobile parking payment application.
