What's New

Parking Compliance

Decline Appeal with Adjustment Flow

Cities can now apply a temporary fee adjustment with an expiry date when declining an appeal, giving enforcement teams more flexibility in how they handle contested citations without permanently waiving fees.

Custom Immobilization Statuses

Operators can now add custom reasons to the default immobilization statuses, enabling more specific tracking of boot and tow activity within enforcement workflows.

Boot and Tow Upgrades

Enhancements to the boot and tow workflow include notice exports, the ability to block offender payments after a tow, a read only lookup mode in OpsMan Mobile, and improved device ID tracking.

Notice Eligible Letters and Immobilization Status Card

Letters can now be triggered automatically when citations become eligible for notices prior to a boot. A new Immobilization Status Card gives officers and back office staff better visibility into the immobilization lifecycle.

Permits

Permit Communication Tool

Back office administrators can now approve and view communications sent to permit holders, improving oversight and consistency of applicant messaging.

Permit Reconciliation Reports

New reconciliation reports for Group Permit Sales, SpotBlock Sales, and Permit Sales give operators structured visibility into permit revenue across programs.

Exact Date Range Picker

Report date range pickers now support exact date selection, eliminating the previous workaround of adding an extra day to generate reports for precise time windows.

Paid Parking

Parking and Enforcement Homepage Dashboard

A combined real time dashboard on the Portal homepage gives teams instant visibility into key parking and enforcement metrics without navigating away from the home screen.

Parking Reports Zone Filter Enhancement

Parking reports now support filtering by zone name or number within a single filter field, making it faster to narrow results to specific areas.

Card Present Processing

Meter and pay station transactions can now be managed, viewed, and reconciled within Passport, giving operators a unified view of card present payment activity alongside other transaction types.

Parking Financial Dashboard

New Financial Detail and Financial Summary reports give parking operators clearer visibility into revenue across zones and time periods.

MacKay Meter Integration

Passport now integrates with MacKay meters via the Events V3 API, enabling enforcement and back office reporting from MacKay meter session data.

Back Office

Passport Labs

Passport Labs is now available in Portal, a dedicated space to explore new ideas and early stage features before full release. Initial Lab features include ArcGIS Data Layers, Goal-Setting, Real-Time Occupancy, and City Profiles.

Ecosystem Insights

Consolidated insights are now available across Parking, Enforcement, and Permits in a single view, giving administrators visibility into trends and activity across all product lines.

Performance Benchmarking

A new benchmarking tool enables comparisons between peer cities for enforcement operations, helping cities understand how their performance compares using shared data. Available in Beta.

Reporting and Insights Menu

An updated menu structure separates Reports and Insights into distinct sections, improving navigation and making it easier to find the right tool for a given task.
