Event Recap: NPA 2024
Did someone say Vegas? Passport recently hit the bright lights of Sin City for the 2024 National Parking Association (NPA) Convention and Expo, where we connected with clients and industry leaders to dive into the latest trends shaping the future of parking.
From the inspiring Women in Parking (WIP) event to celebrating our own “40 Under 40” honorees, Passport had a winning streak at this year’s expo, gaining valuable insights through educational sessions and networking opportunities.
Women in Parking Event
Before the convention floor officially opened, Monday was all about Women in Parking, and our Passport team was there to represent. The day was packed with interactive sessions and open mic discussions, focusing on leadership, business insights, and personal stories from inspiring women in the industry.
We had the chance to connect with WIP entrepreneurs who are leading the way in parking and curb management, sharing their experiences and strategies for navigating challenges and driving success. We left feeling inspired and ready to bring those insights back to our own work.
NPA’s 40 Under 40
Speaking of girl power, we’re thrilled to announce once again that two incredible members of the Passport team, Vienna Lewin and Alexandra Wells, made it onto the National Parking Association’s 40 Under 40 list for 2024! Their contributions and commitment to driving the industry forward are unmatched, and they kicked off the expo by receiving their awards at the NPA Awards Luncheon.
But the celebration didn’t stop there. While Passport is proud to see NPA recognizing the best and brightest young professionals in the industry with this year’s 40 Under 40 class, two of our clients were also honored with prestigious awards. Tobias Marx, Parking Services Division Manager for the City of Bend, was nominated for the Best in Tech Award, recognized for his excellence, innovation, and tech-savvy leadership. Fed Revolte, Parking Division Manager for the City of Tampa, took home the Innovator of the Year award for his groundbreaking business practices and leadership.
Passport takes pride in our dedication to customer success, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the achievements of our clients and team members alike.
Don’t Roll the Dice on Parking Compliance
While Passport brought the beach to IPMI with our “Good Citations” theme, we kept the fun rolling in Vegas with “Don’t Roll the Dice on Parking Compliance!” This playful nod to the city was a reminder to attendees that prioritizing compliance should be the top bet in any parking operation. Through engaging demos at our booth and meaningful conversations, we drove this message home.
NPA 2024 was an incredible show, and we look forward to hitting the jackpot with even more success and innovation next year!
