Norristown introduces a convenient way to pay to park with Passport Parking
The app is easy to use and increases compliance within the municipality
Norristown, Pa. (June 9, 2020) — For the first time, drivers in Norristown can pay to park using a mobile app. Passport Parking, the mobile pay parking application powered by Passport, allows for users to pay for parking at nearly 400 spaces throughout the municipality.
Once the free application is downloaded, users simply create an account, choose a parking zone, and enter the vehicle license plate number to begin a parking session. With the Passport Parking app, users can receive notifications when their sessions are about to expire and extend their sessions with the tap of a button.
“Whether you are a resident or a visitor of Norristown, paying to park throughout the municipality should be a hassle free and seamless experience,” said Christopher Lefebvre, parking enforcement supervisor. “With Passport, we can now provide a more convenient option for parking payments, and simultaneously increase compliance.”
The Municipality of Norristown joins over 1,000 other cities and universities in managing vehicle interactions on streets and sidewalks through Passport’s digital platform.
