Oxford, OH expands partnership with Passport to add more ways to pay for parking

Passport Parking app now available to use across the City

Oxford, Ohio (August 5, 2024) — The City of Oxford, OH is expanding its partnership with Passport, the technology leader in parking compliance and curbside payment solutions, to offer an easier way to park through the City. The Passport Parking application will be available starting today, August 5.

The Passport Parking app allows drivers to conveniently pay for and manage parking sessions through their smartphones. After downloading the free app, a user enters the respective zone number, license plate number and the desired length of time for parking. Users can receive notifications when their sessions are about to expire and view receipts and parking history.

“Since we already use Passport’s platform to manage other aspects of our operation, expanding our partnership to include paid parking made sense,” says Lt. Lara Fening with the City of Oxford Division of Police. “Now, our team can effectively manage paid parking, make data-driven decisions, and maintain compliance, while our community enjoys seamless parking experiences.”

The City of Oxford currently powers and manages its parking enforcement and permitting operations with Passport, allowing it to bring together the complexities of mobility operations into a single view.

“Passport’s software equips cities and operators with better insights to improve parking turnover, expand revenue opportunities and create better compliance,” says Jake Brieg, Passport account executive. “We are proud to be the City of Oxford’s trusted partner and we look forward to continuing to help them address challenges and streamline efficiencies.”
