Passport begins enabling in-dash parking payments in Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep® and Ram vehicles

In-dash payments in select vehicles have now been added to Passport’s growing ecosystem of digital parking payment options.

Passport continues to add more ways to pay for parking through its digital platform with mobile pay parking and the addition of in-dash payments. In partnership with Xevo, a leader in connected-car software and intelligent user experiences, Passport has enabled parking payments to be made directly through the Uconnect infotainment system within Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep® and Ram vehicles.

Drivers of eligible 2019 or newer vehicles can access the new feature through their existing Uconnect system to pay for parking, saving drivers time by removing the need to download a separate app or pay at a meter.

This feature is currently live in Austin, Texas and will continue to roll out to more cities and vehicles over the coming months. The City of Austin continues to be a pace-setter for innovation across parking and mobility. They were the first city to enable parking payments within Google Maps and will now be the first to offer this new and convenient payment option to its local parkers.
