Passport Parking app now available in Helena
City launches first mobile parking payment app
Helena, Mont. (Aug. 16, 2019) — The City of Helena, Montana has launched mobile pay for parking with the Passport Parking mobile app. The app for parking payments can be used for more than 2,000 on-street and off-street spaces in Helena.
Paying to park with the app is simple. Users create an account and input their parking payments information and license plate number. Then, they can easily select a zone and start a parking session. When the parking session ends, users are notified and have the ability to extend the session without returning to their vehicle or a parking meter.
“We are so excited to offer drivers in Helena a new, convenient way to pay for parking,” said Dave Hewitt, City of Helena parking manager. “The Passport Parking app provides a great alternative to parking meters that is simple to use.”
