Parking Compliance

Process Appeals Upgrades

Significant enhancements to the Process Appeals workflow are now available. Users with the Configure Appeals permission can customize up to 10 columns and set sort order defaults. New filters make it faster to locate specific appeals, and CSV export now matches on screen columns and respects all applied filters. Search performance has been improved and validation now prevents appeals from being submitted after the eligibility window has closed.

Photo Enforcement Scans Dashboard

Clients now have a comprehensive view of all camera scans, not just confirmed violations, enabling pattern analysis and more informed optimization of enforcement camera operations.

Appeal Decision Mapping

A new self service tool allows operators to create appeal decisions and link them to reasons and letter templates without engineering involvement, reducing turnaround times for teams managing appeal correspondence.

Operator Hold and Chargeback Management

Operators can now manage hold and release actions on citations and reapply holds after chargebacks, giving teams better control over disputed payments without manual escalation.

Custom Citation Numbering

Custom citation numbers can now be generated consistently during both mobile and back office issuance, ensuring number formatting is uniform regardless of how a citation is issued.

Chalking Details in Process Appeals

The Chalking Details card is now visible for eligible citations within Process Appeals, matching the view already available in Citation Details and eliminating the need to navigate between screens to verify chalking activity.

Permits

Guest Pass Reporting

Operators can now generate reports on guest passes associated with permits, providing greater visibility into how guest passes are being used across permit programs.

CMRpay: Ineligible Address Prevention

CMRpay now prevents applicants from submitting permit applications for ineligible addresses, with clear error messages that help applicants understand why their address does not qualify.

Citation Check Fix for Permit Applications

Citation eligibility checks during the permit application process now behave correctly based on permit type settings, ensuring cities can consistently enforce eligibility rules during application review.

UI and Dashboard Enhancements

SpotBlock has been updated with improved inventory status visibility, smoother scrolling through reservations, a redesigned dashboard with clearer status indicators, a new back button for easier navigation, and overall performance improvements.

Payments

Settlement Detail Report

A new Settlement Detail Report provides a transaction level breakdown of every entry in a settlement batch, making reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, and audit preparation faster and more transparent.

DMV Registration Hold on Accepted Chargebacks

When a chargeback is accepted on a previously paid citation, the system now automatically reapplies the DMV registration hold, maintaining accurate citation status without requiring manual follow up.

Paid Parking

Zone Management Tool

The Zone Management tool is now rolling out to clients, enabling operators to create, manage, and display zones across Passport's Portal, parking apps, and OpsMan Mobile. Advanced mapping capabilities allow teams to visualize and customize zone geometry to reflect real world curb policies.

PCI and Fraud Prevention Enhancements

Security has been strengthened across Guest Checkout and Mobile Pay Web to meet updated PCI requirements. Additional protections around saving new card information further reduce fraud risk across parking transactions.

Back Office

Portal Navigation and UI Refresh

Portal's navigation and logout process have been updated for improved usability, including a relocated profile section and a dedicated logout page that reduces login errors and ensures a smoother experience when logging back in.

Zone Management Privilege Controls

Zone management now includes separate privileges for creating versus editing zones and spaces, enabling more precise permission control for clients managing large or complex zone configurations.
