What's New

PERMITS

Commercial Permits: Bulk and Group Management

Commercial Permits have been refreshed to support bulk requests and group based management, giving cities and organizations more control over large scale commercial permit programs. Additional improvements are planned in future releases.

PAYMENTS

Transaction Hub

The new Transaction Hub unifies all payment activity, from initiation through settlement, in a single centralized view, eliminating the need to switch between tools or reports to track a transaction across its lifecycle.

Parking Compliance

Evidence File Upload Improvements

The evidence file upload component on the Citation Details page has been updated so images and PDFs can be zoomed directly within the page, without opening a new tab or triggering automatic downloads, improving the review experience for staff working through evidence during appeals or hearings.

Generate New Receipt and Reprint Receipt

Receipt generation is now handled as a separate step for improved reliability, reducing timing issues and duplicate receipts. Portal users now see two distinct options: Re-print Receipt for copies of existing receipts, and Generate New Receipt for cases where no receipt was created during the original payment.

Portal Payment Optimization

Updates to how Portal processes payments improve speed and scalability while preventing payments from being applied against outdated fees, reducing refund corrections and helping staff act faster with accurate information.

Cashiering Data Associated with Citation Payments

Reporting on citation payments made in person now includes the associated cashiering session and drawer, providing clearer visibility, easier filtering, and faster reconciliation for clients using cashiering workflows.

Citation Trail Enhancements

The citation trail now captures changes to custom fields, and date fields can be cleared directly in Portal, improving visibility and accuracy when reviewing citation history.

Reset User Signature

Administrators can now clear officer signatures directly in User Management without contacting Support, consolidating functionality that was previously only available in OpsMan Web.

OpsMan Mobile Camera Shutter Speed Improvement

The OMM camera now includes additional options to fine-tune shutter speed and focus behavior during citation issuance, giving clients more control over photo capture in the field. Clients who think they may benefit from these adjustments can contact Passport support.

Commercial Permits have been refreshed to support bulk requests and group based management, giving cities and organizations more control over large scale commercial permit programs. Additional improvements are planned in future releases.

Active and Archived Permit Tabs in CMRpay

CMRpay now separates current and past permits into distinct Active and Archived tabs, making it easier for permit holders to find their current permits and review historical records.

Tiered Pricing Language Improvements

Tiered pricing language in the CMRpay checkout flow and on receipts has been clarified to help end users better understand how fees are calculated at each tier.

Address Based Pricing for Multiple Permit Types

Tiered pricing rules tied to an address now support multiple permit types, allowing for more flexible and accurate pricing logic for cities that offer several permit programs at the same address.

Same Day Permit Purchases Until Midnight

Same day permits can now be purchased on CMRpay until midnight, extending the window for late day transactions beyond the previous 8 PM cutoff.

Change Request Receipts Reflect Updated Details

Change Request receipts now display the updated permit details after approval rather than the previous information, improving transparency for permit holders tracking modifications.

Copy Session Details

A new Copy Details option in the Actions menu on the Parker Account page allows users to copy visible session details to their clipboard for quick sharing or documentation.

License Plate Dash Support

A new operator setting allows dashes in license plates to be recognized during Parking Rights enforcement checks, improving compatibility with plate formats used in specific states and cities.

Accurate Wallet Reload Receipts

Wallet reload receipts now correctly display the payment method used (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal), resolving an issue where alternate payment methods were incorrectly labeled as a Visa card.
